Post: smoke damage to computor boardsPosted by jan sauser on 6/12/08
we had a fire in our drycleaning plant a small fire at the
back but alot of smoke damage. we have heard over and over
again that all computor boards on our drycleaning machines
and washer should be replaced. our adjuster is very
reluctant to do this. we cannot get new boards for 2 of
our dry cleaning machines replaced either and are saying
they will have to replace the equipment. one machine right
now is not responding. they have thrown out all cash
registers and all other electronic machines when they were
doing cleanup. what is normally supposed to happen or do we
have to seek legal advice to get this accomplished. plus
very slow on paying out our expenses and interruption
insurance we are now in the 5th month after the fire.
our policy does include electronic equipment as being
covered. please let me know
thankyou jan sauser
