Post: Asbestos Class Action Question

I have a question: If a claimant received settlements from
a class action suit regarding Asbestos exposure in 1992 and
signed releases which indemnified the defendant companies,
then developed Mesothelioma in 2003 and passed away while
pursuing legal action. Are lawsuits still viable since the
claimant originally signed releases and received a
negligable amount of settlement from the class action suit?
